吉隆坡：外出关怀 Providing outdoor care with recitation ⎮ 2023.08.31

🙏因缘：今日马来西亚国庆日，接到大众莲友的预约申请提供外出关怀。因此净本师父带领义工一同前往。其对象是莲友的弟弟（龚老居士），上个星期刚出院回来。但因免疫系统受损，体弱精神不佳，但因对阿弥陀佛不甚了解，所以希望师父能够给予开示。龚居士很有善根，过程都静静聆听师父讲述阿弥陀佛的救度，当中听到相应的部分还能会心一笑。最后师父也带领龚居士和家属一起念佛。离开之前，师父也鼓励老居士，平常有事无事，尽量就是听着念佛机跟着念佛；如果没有气力，听着佛号也行。老居士欢喜信受。
On this day of Malaysia's National Day, in response to the request, Venerable Master Jingben went out to provide outdoor care. The target was a brother of a follower (Mr Kon), who had just returned from the hospital last week. Due to a compromised immune system, he was physically weak. However, as he had limited knowledge about Amitabha Buddha, the sibling hoped that the Master could provide guidance. Throughout the process, Mr Kon attentively listened as the Master expounded on the deliverance of Amitabha Buddha. At certain points during the discourse, he even smiled in agreement. In the end, the Master led Elder Gong, along with his family, in reciting Namo Amituofo. Before leaving, Master also encouraged Mr Kon that in his daily life, whether being occupied or idle, he should try the recitation of Namo Amituofo. If lacking the energy, simply listening to the Nianfo Device is also acceptable. Mr Kon accepted joyfully.
