新加坡弥陀寺：2023年中元念佛法会 Zhong Yuan-Rite of Deliverance ⎮ 2023.08.27(日)
2023年8月27日 — 在一个祥和的下午，新加坡净土宗弥陀寺举办了一场富有意义的中元念佛超度法会。这场法会由净本法师主法，以庄严的仪式依照《念佛超荐仪轨》进行，超过三百名信众齐聚于此，为逝去的亲人超度，共同祈愿其往生净土，离苦得乐。
August 27, 2023 — On a serene afternoon, 弥陀寺 in Singapore hosted a profoundly meaningful ZhongYuan Rite of Deliverance. Presided over by Venerable Jingben, the assembly adhered to the solemnity of the rite session as it united over three hundred devout followers. Together, they devoted this occasion to the transcendence of their departed loved ones, earnestly praying for their rebirth in the Pure Land, free from suffering.
法会中，净本法师以富有启发性的方式，开示到人生真相和念佛超度的益处，使信众认识到生死大事的重要性，也更深刻体悟到念佛的价值。通过此次的开示，大众开始能深刻思考到生命的本质，并且体会到死亡并非是重点，而是一种生命的转化，更是迈向极乐之机缘。
During the assembly, Venerable Jingben, in an enlightening manner, expounded upon the truths of life and the benefits of Nianfo in deliverance. Through his guidance, participants realized the significance of contemplating life and death, and deepened their understanding of the value of Nianfo. Through this teaching, they also began to ponder on the essence of life and to realize that death is not the ultimate end, but rather a transformation—a gateway to the Pure Land.
与会者们虔诚地参与了法会的各个环节，包括念诵佛号，诵念超荐仪轨，以及聆听开示。庄严的仪式和虔诚的念佛氛围，让人们领略到超度的内涵，也更加珍视生命能够获得解脱的真谛。
Participants engaged devoutly in every facet of the assembly, including chanting Nianfo part, reciting the rites, and attentively listening to the teachings. The dignified rituals and the devout ambiance fostered a sense of the profound implications of deliverance, and reinforced a greater reverence for the truth of liberation within life.
毫无疑问，这场中元念佛超度法会不仅是信仰的体现，更成为心灵的共鸣。通过这次法会，不仅大众能为已故的亲人超荐，也为自己的内心带来了平和与希望。祈愿念佛的信仰，将引领大众在喧嚣的娑婆世界找到安心之处，最终能得极乐之往生。
Without a doubt, through this assembly, not only did the participants achieve the target of transcendence of their departed loved ones, they also cultivated peace and hope within life. May the faith in Nianfo shall guide all, offering solace amidst the tumultuous world, ultimately leading to the attainment of the ultimate blissful rebirth.
